2013 Sheep Competitions

Welcome to the 2013 Sheep Shows at Champlain Valley Fair! 

The Youth Sheep Competition starts us off on opening day - Saturday, August 24th.  This show is open to any young people who were 21 years old or less on January 1st, 2013.  The Wool Leadline Competition follows the show on Saturday evening, so get those wool outfits together! Both youth and adult exhibitors are invited to participate! The Open Meat Breeds Competition takes place on Sunday, August 25th and the Open Wool Show follows a week later on Sunday, September 1st.

We would like to ask all exhibitors to bring pen displays, table displays, posters, or any material that would educate the public about the virtues and versatility of sheep. Be sure to check with your breed association.  They may have brochures or information that you could share. We are looking forward to an exciting season in the sheep tent!
